Voting Advocacy
Review Past Communication
For the past 5 years, the voting results have become a big slap for the Filipinos today.
The Office for Overseas Voting (OFOV) of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) has invited Filipino voters living abroad to participate as test voters in a trial run of four internet voting solutions offered by various election system providers.
Participants must have an active and full voter registration record, according to the poll body in a statement. (Patinio, 2021)
“Their registration status must be active, which means that it must not have been deactivated for failure to vote in the two previous elections in 2016 and 2019,” it said.
In Accordance of Rappler.com, The triumph of Joe Biden over Donald Trump serves as a reminder and a source of hope for Filipinos. The election of Democrat Joe Biden as president of the United States sent shockwaves across the world, including the Philippines.
Several netizens have taken to Twitter, using the hashtag #Halalan2022, to encourage Filipinos to register to vote in the Philippines' 2022 presidential elections, which were inspired by the historic election that ended a four-year populist rule.
The two presidential candidates were immersed in a nail-biting contest, with Biden winning some crucial swing states that had been won by the Republican incumbent in 2016. Trump's campaign has filed legal challenges in many states based on unsubstantiated allegations of widespread voter fraud.
Bongbong Marcos, who also cried fraud when Leni Robredo began to edge him out in the 2016 vice presidential race, was recently compared to Donald Trump by Filipino netizens.
Set Objectives
#Halalan2022, was mentioned and ranked in the Top 10 again on Twitter, as preparation and engaging unregistered voters for the upcoming election and what do they need to know about.
The youth vote has the potential to end political dynasties.
An analyst said Friday that youth voices can help break the cycle of electing candidates from political dynasties as they pursue "fundamental change."
The concentration of power, one aspect of which is the proliferation of dynasties, "leads to under-ambition, underdevelopment, outright corruption in some places and impunity in many other places," said Ronald Mendoza, dean of the Ateneo School of Government.
"I have to believe that our young people, and our potentially large youth vote coming out in 2019 and 2022, and maybe future elections, will want reform and radical change that actually gives citizens far more voice, not just to political clans, political families that have pushed us into a situation where we settle," he told ANC News Now.
"I believe that when more young people become eligible to vote, they can express themselves in this way."
Mendoza urged voters to vote for parties that "fight for changes that will offer us a more sustainable democracy and economy." (Billiones, 2018)
MAIN OBJECTIVES:
Our advocacy’s number one goal is for us to encourage our young voters to register this coming election and be one who will choose the right leader for our country.
Analyze the efficacy of messages that encourage people to vote, the change depends on the voters, highlighting the goals and objectives that the government unable to see or to improve.
Assess the importance of voting, realize how their votes more broadly affect the political system. Motivating the people to vote that the next leaders could be the contemporary solution-tuning point.
One responsibility and right of a citizen is voting. The law does not require citizens to vote, but voting is a very important part of any democracy. By voting, citizens are participating in the democratic process. They vote for leaders to represent them and their ideas who will support their needs and interests as people who are part of the country.
Identify your audiences
The primary audience of this advocacy campaign is:

In Accordance of Politics.com, Senator Kiko Pangilinan on Monday emphasized the “game-changing role” of youth voters in the upcoming national elections in 2022, which are expected to attract four million new voters.
The secondary audience of this advocacy campaign is the remaining unregistered voters.
According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, 73 million people are eligible to vote in the 2022 elections. Just 58 million people have enrolled so far, according to COMELEC, leaving 15 million unaccounted for.
COMELEC figures compared to the population as stated by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

It energizes and excites both the unregistered and registered Filipinos, making them fast forward for election 2022 to be the change they wanted to see. 6. Set Budget and resources
8. Decide Timeline and Phasing
Gantt Chart presents the timeline of activities in the span of 6 months for Voting Advocacy.
Plan monitoring and Indicators
In order to determine if the goal was achieved, we must observe and be able to monitor that many youths have changed their minds when it comes to voting this coming election. Identifying the total number of advocates were engaged. We must personally see that there are changes that happened when it comes to the number or population of registered voters. If they considered our platforms and realized themselves that voting is really important to choose who is the appropriate person to appoint that can provide and give the best service to us citizens of this country. To find out how many actions your advocates have taken, through our medium-social media, this means they have the potential to make multiple connections. f the young ones started influencing their co-youths to grab the opportunity as a voter this coming election for them to have the power and right to choose who can help the world to become better. For us to determine if we really made this advocacy happen, we must personally feel and notice that many young people were able to grab their opportunity to have this chance as part of their rights, to think wisely, and to decide who to appoint because the change that we want to happen is right in our hands.
