If I am still residing in the Philippines, it would be easier for me to observe my country, the media, the practitioners, and the current events. I am currently experiencing doubts about my future, should I fly back there? The broadcasting students I know have been exposed to the realities, and the Philippines moves fast and where was I? I have been missing the growth of the Philippine Media, until today.

At first I have to be expectant and I have no idea what to expect at the same time. This course has been my lens on what is the field work, the practicalities, and the attitude through, You. you, as our instructor, went beyond boundaries as giving us a copies for the scripts and other concepts for us to take one step closer of our future. It has helped me to stretched than what I can be. I presumed that this course and experience with You can be more, with the presence of the face to face opportunities. Though the busy schedule as a practitioner, and other parts of you; I have felt of being hands on and discussed each topic, inside and outside; with a thought of “Ah, okay, ganito pala yun.” This course gave as peak of what we can be on the real world. The amount of time and work in this course was not thoroughly maximized for the short period of time but this is a good foundation for our future as we experienced this.

It made me to trust my blockmates on duties assigned, it made us to work in double-time, to be resourceful and strategic, to practice patience with hardwork and never-ending revisions and retakes. In this subject, I did more than what I am supposed to do. It taught us to achieve the idea of teamwork and working on yourself as well. Before this degree program even started, I wanted to appear in front of the camera, I wanted to have eyes on me and through time, I have been certained of I can work more and effectively behind camera.

For the activities given, none of them was easy, not until this essay. All of the assignments required effort and other extras, and with that we are able to see which one needs to be improved. However, wala pa ito sa kalingkingan. This was just the crumbs from the bread. Who am I to complain? At the end of the day we are able to believe on our capabilities and to look forward on future that awaits.
