2021 MMHRDC International Symposium and Annual Scientific Conference

In the wake of delving into the conference, this left me a question, what exactly is your priority? Looking into your inner self.

In pre-pandemic we were not giving enough attention and importance of taking care of ourselves. This pandemic taught the world to protect itself. We were fully consumed by other priorities and neglected mental and physical health. In summary of the conference, the basics of health. Knowledge that we already knew about it, but not in-depth level of discussion because of stigma. It went into this extent to speak to us and to be heard about. Basics of health hygiene, One part affects the whole, the way that we take care of our bodies can affect our mental, relational, and spiritual health as every aspect of our well-being supplements each other. In order for us to be at our best, we are to take a holistic approach with our well-being. Which is really essential than making money or establishing the name, especially during this time of health crisis.

How can we be well-being?

We must first recognize that we are a product of our own habits. The things we tolerate and reject in our regular routines shape our lives. And, we know in ourselves how to take care of our physical being but we do not practice it since we are fully consumed by other priorities and we are compromising our health.

As people say, “You are what you eat.” This indicates that the food we eat has an impact on our mental and emotional state, which in turn has an impact on our relationships, conduct, and work quality. The expression "Sleep is for the weak" is surely familiar. However, the truth is that not getting enough sleep makes you weak. Sleeping strengthens your body and keeps you from getting sick. Use the power of a nap to your advantage.

Home quarantine has significantly reduced our body movements. Exercise is not only for someone who wants to build muscle or weight loss. It is shaping your lifestyle, it is a discipline that your body needs. It is not an excuse to not exercise your body or be worn out from your personal work, It should be a part of your lifestyle or at least a sports activity.

Regular physical examinations are not typical in our culture, but the pandemic highlighted the necessity to constantly monitor what's going on within our bodies. Regular checks may appear to be pricey and time-consuming at first, but they are preferable to a surprise trip to the doctor. Setting aside time to have yourself checked allows you to make the required changes to your habits as soon as possible.
